Simply Open-Mouthed With Admiration

Now that I've lived in Australia for twenty years, I reckon one of the most enduring favourites for children is the Clown Game. The clown's head rotates about 120 degrees, from left to right, and the aim is to drop a series of table tennis balls through its open mouth, to try and get them into a series of numbered slots. Prizes are determined by the total.

Would you believe it if I told you that I had never heard of that clown game? (I grew up in deeeep country, after all. *g*)
The photos are stunning, if a bit eerie. I don't know why they make me think of Hitchcock type movies. Halloween closing in?
Goodness, I've never seen anything quite like that before. Makes North American carnivals look rather dreary.

LOL, ever since Pennywise I have never been able to look at a clown the same way again.

An an an an if yu thort yu wer brayve, but never got scared, how wud yu kno? Yu mite not be brayve at all: it mite jus be that nothin had scared yu yet.
So, how do you get the tennis balls in the clowns mouth? Are they thrown? Sounds like a cool game.

I do love the colors in your photos, and the game would be fun to try. I have to say I have never heard of this game.
