Salty Burger Leads To One Night In Jail
A McDonald's employee in the US spent a night in jail and is facing criminal charges because a police officer's burger was too salty. Kendra Bull, 20, said she accidentally spilled salt on hamburger meat and ate a burger from the salty batch with no ill effects. But police officer Wendell Adams charged Bull for serving the burger ``without regards to the wellbeing of anyone who might consume it''. Samples of the burger were sent to a crime lab for tests.

Oh, for goodness sake, haven't they got beter things to do???
Hi Carol,
My sentiments exactly. Luckily she wasn't charged with ``a salt'' and battery!

Hi, O Great Monarch,
Yes, exactly. If I had been jailed every time my burgers weren't up to scratch, I wouldn't have had time to write a novel!
Some people just need a sense of humour!

But at this rate they should lock all the employees up because even the normal recipe ones are gross!
I hate to say it but far greater intentional and disgusting affronts have been perpetrated upon uniformed officers by fast food workers down here closer to the border. Salt looks benign by comparison but perhaps that is where the heightened sensitivity is coming from.
I read about that online too and thought if it was indeed, accidental as the employee stated, why didn't the cop just pitch it or take it back and request another - peaceably - rather than just carting the young lady off to the pokie. There's more than one way to handle almost every circumstance in life and why does it always seem to have to be the most unpleasant methods that get chosen?
The real crooks must laugh when they read stuff like this.
Crook Number 1 - "Check out the news dude, they just arrested a guy for putting too much salt on a Big Mac."
Crook Number 2 - "Get off your ass, your supposed to be stealing the TV, not watching it!"
