You never know when you'll need your camera, so do what I do - carry it with you all the time. I recently went into a post office, but of course a lot of the Australia Post outlets are shops as well. And while I was waiting in line, I spotted this sight above the gift wrap and greetings cards. I asked permission to photograph the sight and was told that was fine. I worked pretty quickly, so I guess you could say it was a case of post haste!

The kink is alive and well here in PNG!!!!
Great colours - you have a keen eye!!
You also have a very good sense of humor!
Newbie. I do carry a camera most of the time, but mine are merely family snaps.
I envy you living in Australia - almost as great as San Jose!
Best wishes
Oooo that reminds me... must get my letter off to Farver Crismoss soon...
enyway, DAVE! Hav yu seen the photo's on What's In Your Backyard? lately? They're brilliant!
Great shot.. looks just like my hair on a Saturday night.. ha!
Thank you for visiting 'wiggers world' today. It always a pleasure when someone knew drops by, more so when they take time out to leave a comment.
Cheers

thanks for stopping by my place and for telling me how you found me (i always wonder). the kind words are much appreciated. i enjoyed looking through your most recent posts here to get a feel for your place. lovely photography, feeding my sick appreciation for puns, and the encouraging words to others...i'm liking what i see. ;)
David- But don't you ever feel awkard taking pictures of things that to most people might not seem worthwhile? I mean, I like that picture, but I would feel insecure standing in line at the P.O. taking a picture of a bunch of ribbon. Please explain :)
Yes its a lesson! I was always told to take a camera and binoculars ( I do a bit of bird watching)...the very time I did not...hey presto.. missed out on what could have been fantastic wildlife photos and list :o/
That's a festive bunch of kinky ribbon!
And I followed your link right back! Nice work :)Thanks for visiting my blog

G'day Colleen,
Great question. I'll have to do a post on that, because I;ve had one VERY interesting experience.
But no, I never have a problem getting out the camera while others are around. This is Oz, so mostly people don;t hassle ....

It's always the way, mate. The one time you forget your camera, you'll see the best sights!
