Mate, Your Questions Are Driving Us Up The Wall
Photograph copyright: DAVID McMAHON
Sometimes it's the combination of two common objects that prompts me to pick up my camera. Ain't nuthin' special about a tree with bare branches, most of the time. Ain't nuthin' special about a blue wall, most of the time. But when you drive past a tree with bare branches that's in front of a blue wall - you pull over immediately. And you shoot the scene through your window before you drive on. This shot, out of my archives, was taken on a very cloudy morning, about two months ago.

It's more like the Funny Farm, where you originated.

Actually, a blue wall is pretty special in and of itself. But with bare branches? Shucks, that's just gravy!
HI david, thnks for the feedback! and I'd be glad to be on your blogroll; Fun and Food is still my primary blog, I'm working towards getting the new one upto speed:) but I'm becoming busier by the day, with my actual day job:)
Fun and Food is already on technorati http://technorati.com/blogs/funnfud.blogspot.com
I am a bit confused about the Authority and the way it works though!!
I've always admired the way you can make the mundane dynamic, David. Another great shot!
David-
Great shot. I really love that you are so aware of your surroundings, that you can see such beauty all around you. I often wish the same for many of my peers in the big city. If we all stopped to see the bare trees against a blue wall every once in a while we might all be just a bit more appreciative of our surroundings.
G'day Ed,
I'll take that as a genuine compliment!

Hi Mansi,
It's just struck me that ``Desai'' is just ``ideas'' with the letters re-arranged!
Have sent you an email with the Tehcnorati info.
Good luck and do stay in touch.

Hi CLCG,
I guess that sums us both up, doesn;t it? But I value that comment, because that is exactly what I enjoy doing.
Thank you for the kind comment. Very special words indeed.

Perhaps it's a matter of 'two common objects' but the moment you used your camera, you made it all special by making a pretty picture and you made it prettier by writing so well about it. :)
Hi Indicaspecies,
Thank you for those kind words. I guess it helps that I really enjoy what I do here.

Now how do I get the song "I left my thrill on Blueberry Hill" out of my mind?
Hi Ruth,
Great song - and not it's playing through my head as well!
Very appropriate, though!
Keep smiling
David
