Nothing could be finer
Than a water diviner
Whose rod finds a blotch
That ain’t water but Scotch

Every man's dream
To find Scotch running like a stream!
But think of the fish.....
And you would miss
A glass of cold water
If not, well you oughter!

Now, that would definitely be my kind of "divining rod" -or maybe one that led to a permanent keg of beer too. Oh yeah! Sounds good to me.

Since water diviners can't even find more water than any others, I think you'll have to let them in at a distillery. Then maybe...

Diviner can you tell? Where should I put my well?

Come, taste what I've found here below your ground.

This water, I said, Has gone to my head!
And I can't help but think it's my new favorite drink.
It would be swell if you'd dig me a well.
Then just to be nice, add a truck full of ice.

I surely will, after payment of my bill.

Your scotch would be diviner
If it dripped on my recliner

Where does he choose
To drill for his booze
He'll even have cheer
If he just reaches beer
