Please answer today's question on your own blog, any time until next weekend. Just link to this blog (or to this post) so I can follow the progress of the discussion.
The question is: When did you last complain about the weather?
Yesterday, when it was 101* and I was heating up the kitchen making dinner. I'm sure I'll do it again soon, since it is supposed to be even higher today.
"Spent many summers in the UK as a sportswriter. One year at Wimbledon I grizzled about the heat. About an hour later, tropical downpour paralysed London.
From that point on, I was banned from discussing the weather!"
You obviously weren't well advised prior to your visits. A tourist criticising the weather prompts vehement defence from the natives of our varied, wondrous weather - this is also law, alongside shouting that defence to said tourists in order that they might understand us whilst, at the same time, making no attempt to understand them. Best keep schtumm next visit! Gary
LOL. I'll give you the short answer - five minutes ago on a comment on someone else's blog. It's June but it was colder than March today. Grrrrr. Or should I say Brrrrr.
(And to Daryl... I'll send some of my weather your way if you'll send some of your weather my way!)
I kind of already did this one. I'll link it to you though. Just for fun. Then I will look like a tome traveller. http://www.jobeaufoix.com/2008/06/03/na-na-na-i-cant-hear-you/
I must write a reply David as really people who complain about the weather from the comfort of their warm homes do not understand the pure essence of enduring bad weather on the back of a motorbike. LOL!

It's compulsory in the UK to complain about the weather at least three times a day!!
