Any idea what this picture depicts? No, it's not a beach scene. Okay, let me give you a clue - it was taken at the Air Show. More information needed? Righty-oh, then - it's the chrome spinner of a twin-engine light plane. I used the long lens for this one, because the barriers kept us peasants away from the multi-million dollar military and civilian aircraft and helicopters. Look carefully at the frame and you'll the tarmac and sky reflected in the smooth, curved metal. And those graceful black V-shaped objects (at the 12 o'clock, four o'clock and eight o'clock positions on an imaginary clock face) are the propeller blades.

It's the nose of a plane!

Hi Darlene,

Keep smiling.
