Fluster’s Last Stand

Robber Did His Dash Without Any Cash

A bank teller in the US flustered a would-be bank robber and foiled a robbery after asking where his bag was. Police in New Hudson, Michigan, said the suspect entered a Chase Bank and handed the teller a small piece of cardboard that read, ``Give me your money.'' Sheriff's detective Tom Bisio said, ``When she asked him if he had a bag to put the money into, he ran off without any cash.''

Which just goes to show...the Brits aren't so far removed from us classless American's after all :)

Actually we are heading there in just over a week, my first visit in London, actually. Any tips you can provide for my journey would be greatly appreciated.

Hi CLCG,

I've always thought your mob were fairly classy - well, all the ones I've met.

Tips for London: get used to Earl Grey tea, carry a brolly (tightly furled) and get over the cultural shock of calling people ``Guv''.

It is a beautiful city.

Yours, in envy

Not fair David, I posted regarding a different story...

To this one I would say Michiganders (I'm formerly from Michigan therefore I'm allowed to say this!) don't make good robbers.

But they do make great coney dogs.
