Rhyme And Treason

Toe The Line At Bart’s Blog

If you enjoy a laugh and if you chuckle at irreverence, then check out Bartraeke. He has launched a new game that is getting a fair bit of attention. He gives you the first few lines of a nursery rhyme, well-known song lyric or poem - and you can chip in and provide your own take on the last line. And because Bart is, well, Bart, you can be as funny as you want.

The Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater thing had me laughing because they asked people to finish that sentence on a game show I was watching and the man said, "Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater had a wife and couldn't eat her." LOL!

Hi Goddess,

Thanks for visiting. I enjoyed that story. All he did was miss one word and what a different meaning he gave the rhyme!

Cheers

David

Free advertising FTW!

That's for the win, in case you aren't well versed in gaming/internet slang, there.

'had a wife and couldn't eat her'...What a way to make an innocent rhyme sound gruesome...

Hi Bart-man,

FYI, FTW was not something in my lexicon. Thank you for educating me, kind sir!
