Someone Should Have Expressed It Better
Was the stamp still valid? A holiday postcard put into a mailbox 33 years ago finally arrived at its destination in Germany this week. The picture postcard was sent by a holidaymaker in the Bavarian Alps to a friend in the city of Aachen, 550 kilometres away. Both the sender and the recipient are long dead. The postal service could not explain why the card took so long to reach its destination. They suspect someone might have found it and sent it on again.
