Sounds Like A Squadron Of Beef-52s
In Zala county in western Hungary, locals hired a team of rodeo cowboys to round up a 50-strong herd of cattle that had roamed free for years. Authorities said they could not shoot the animals as they were a rare breed and had protected species status. Then Zsolt Kossuth said, "The cowboys came in (and) it was like something out of the Wild West."

Hell’s Bells
The Thieves Were On Their Metal
Police in Hungary are looking for thieves who made off with a 300-kilogram (660-pound) stone copper bell from the top of a church tower. Local priest Father Peter Bottyan only realised it had gone when he went to ring it one morning. Police said: "It would have taken a crane and dozens of men to get that down."

Was It A Falling-Out?
Maybe It Was A Falling-In Instead
An entire police squad had to be rescued from a freezing lake in Hungary after an officer tried to chase a robber across ice. Policewoman Ani Kosut fell through ice in Szigliget in the west of the country. Passers-by called other police but as they tried to fish her out, they fell in as well and more officers had to be called. Thirty policemen ended up in the freezing waters before a team of fire fighters finally dragged them all to safety. The robber escaped.
