This week's interview is with Indrani,
who writes the blog i Share.
who writes the blog i Share.

The first of the standard questions. Why do you blog?
I started blogging for my own pleasure and use this blogging medium to express myself. It is a great feeling to know you have an audience waiting to read you and your thoughts.
What's the story behind your blog name?
Initially I started recording my travel experiences with photographs I took and I named my blog 'Travel Recall'. Then I found myself writing whatever occurred to head and heart and I was actually sharing my feelings, thoughts and views. So 'Travel Recall' morphed into 'i Share.'
What is the best thing about being a blogger?
The best part of being a blogger is: blogging lets you be creative and lets you connect amazingly quickly. There is a sense of belonging, (I refer to the memes in particular). Blogging helped me connect to a lot of virtual friends; some of them have turned in to real life friends too, a friendship that I cherish and treasure, and hope to sustain.
What key advice would you give to a newbie blogger?
I am still in the learning stage myself. I feel one must be active in terms of posting, commenting and linking. Keep the posts small and simple, preferably dealing with a single topic, post photographs, but not too many of them like me. ;) Do not hurt others; neither by posts nor by comments.
What is the most significant blog post you've ever read?
Tough question, David. I keep reading so many blogs and learning so much, it is very difficult to single out one. Here, I would like to mention my friend, Swarna, who got me into blogging and opened up a whole new world for me.
What is the most significant blog post you've ever written?
This one made me go visiting all my posts. Many are mere expression of raw thoughts. I can list two entries rather close to my heart: Black Swan and Where Do Butterflies Go When It Rains.

Today's Sunday Roast with Indrani is the 62nd in a weekly series of interviews with bloggers from around the world.
