Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

It might sound absurd, but I don’t think George Jetson
Would ever have starred on TV in a Stetson
Try as he might, I don’t think Keith Urban
Would ever perform while wearing a turban

Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

I coulda been a rock star but I never had the voice
I coulda been a monarch but I never had the choice
I coulda been a cowboy but I never had a Stetson
I coulda been a jockey but I’m too tall to put bets on

Number One On The Hat Parade

That Ain't No Stetson, George Jetson

Photograph copyright: DAVID McMAHON

If there's one thing I enjoy, it's going right up close to compose a tight frame. But occasionally there is the need to pull back and just shoot a whole scene, rather than one segment of it. I was drawn to the texture of these hats, but opted for this view of the whole display instead. Yes, I know that less is more, but sometimes more is more as well. I think I've grasped that concept - more or less!
