At long last I meet the infamous David McMahon! And now I know what all the hullabaloo is all about - the art, the verse, the simplicity - I'm going to like my visits here.
Farmer David has a big blog, He loves it almost as much as his hog. He really enjoys all the friends that he's makin', While he's flippin' eggs and cookin' some bacon. (better late than never - johnnny)

Ones a starter and the others a *arter

Thank you, OJ, for the visit and the comment.
I used to blog regularly, then shut up shop more than a year ago to concentrate on a novel, but am now finding my way around BlogLand once more!
Hi Anna,
Exactly a week ago! It's great to be back among good friends!

Can't finish the story,
Not this time
Difficult subject to
continue in rhyme.
But your verse did amuse me!
Oh and you've given me a bit of inspiration for my blog David

Farmer Giles
Has terrible piles
Thats why he wears baggy
Old fashioned and saggy!
Have a good day (or night whatever time it is down under!)
Maggie X
Nuts in May
Why, thank you kindly, ma'am
That's so very kind of you, EthelMae - kind of you to drop by and kind of you to leave such a warm comment.
Thanks, Ayak - it DID rhyme, though!
Thanks, Ayak - on my way to check it out now.
Oh, Magie, my mind boggles at the thought! You have really taken it to the next level! Poor Farmer Giles....
Do gentlemen still wear garters? I prefer the farmer, old fashioned and comfy and down to earth.
Farmer Giles is a charmer
As well as a farmer
'cause he flashes the garter
He stole from Ad Carter!
You do test our grey matter don't you, David LOL

Thanks, TechnoBabe, there's something comforting about people with old-fashioned values.
Hi there, Eddie - I just KNEW he'd stolen it from someone, so thanks for solving the mystery!
Always good to see you here, Johnny - and to see your rhymes as well.
I never realized how much I missed these ridiculous poems....
