Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Just for fun (so he said) and a bit of variety
He enrolled in AA to understand sobriety
So he gave up the grog before he’d even drunk it
And eloped with his mentor, the spry Mrs Plunkett

Hummm, I wonder if it is still considered 13th stepping even if drinking was not an issue?

It's one of those stories, ah? Ouch.

There was a young knight called Lancelot
Who before a mirror did prance a lot
He drank while he rode
The silly old toad
And him and his horse then did dance a lot.
Good morning David, Eddie

Arrogant lad went to the meeting
Never expecting such a greeting
Boasting that he was never a drunk
Others then said leave here you punk
