A paper book has always been my love. I romanticize the smell and feel of the paper as the black ink lifts of the page to carry me away into whatever treasures unfold.
I scoffed at the e-reader for many months. But now I eat my words because I am the proud owner of a Nook. It will never replace my books but goodness it is so handy right now as I bounce between hospitals with both parents ill.
I love being able to read my book or read aloud my parents favorites and have my music all in one small item that goes in my purse. Plus it plays sudoku when I can't concentrate on a story. How cool is that?

As someone who embraces technology in all its forms, my vote nonetheless would be for a paper-and-ink book too!

Maggie, I'm all for technology, and here is a lot to be said about the convenience of an e-reader, but books just have an extra human dimension!

Barnes and Noble books cost too much

It's like a Kindle from Amazon
Which you can also read with no light on.
