This Sound Is Driving Me Nuts

Who Turned This Car Into A Chipmunk Nest?

An Indiana woman opened her car bonnet when her indicator and windscreen wipers stopped working - to find thousands of walnuts. She thinks a chipmunk may have found its way into her car - which had been sitting idle for several weeks - and used it as a storage depot. "Apparently this little guy stuffed a bunch of these nuts in the accelerator throttle," she said.

FOOTNOTE: Shell shock.

If that's the entire story, I'm glad the little guy who put the nuts there didn't lose his life along with his stash.

Cheers!

My sister had a small car she was usig to get back to work and when winter came she gave it to a co-worker because the heater would not work and the car was quite old. He took the dash apart and found that mice had made nests and clogged up the entire heating. he cleaned it out and announced to her it was now working fine and thanks.

Was the chipmunk's name WALL-E? Maybe he was just getting in the Christmas spirit...

"Walnuts roasting on an open cylinder,
Jack Frost nipping at the hose...."

Peace and Merry Christmas - D

Glad the little fella got away, other wise he'd have been toasted!

I wonder if they were eatable?
