He was inspired (he said) by the Great Tetrahedral
Which explains the odd shape of the brand-new cathedral
From Malta to Yalta, let us not falter
While we attempt to alter the shape of the altar

LOL Cathedrals have been redesigned many times. I think they used to be done in the form of a cross. But I'd love to see the one behind your poem. :-)

Having no idea who's work you are talking about I, of course, googled it, which got me nothing conclusive. But I did come across an interesting piece about the St. John Theologeon Cathedral in Moscow. The article uses the word tetrahedral so frequently that you have to know what the word means to understand what they are talking about. What caught my eye though was the image of a chandeleer hanging inside the cathedral which looks a whole lot like your balloon arrangement in the previous post. So you might enjoy taking a look. Ahh this brings back memories of my trips to Malta and diving in those deepest crimson-blue waters...
However I gave the diving up a couple of days later there as a 12 foot shark was caught in the very cove where I had been!!
I never was a big fan of "Jaws"!!
