Officers Were Chanting: Stay Cheese

Italian investigators have busted a ring of mozzarella-loving cops who demanded bribes from motorists. Officers in the Campagnia region, which is famous for its mozzarella, stopped cheese delivery vans and forced them to hand over produce or face hefty fines. The police are thought to have used the cheese for their own consumption. Italy's Interior Ministry said four officers had been arrested and five more were under investigation.

FOOTNOTE: Mozzarella, fella.

My sympathies.
Anybody who has ever eaten truly fresh mozzarella, within 12 hours of being produced, knows how heavenly it tastes. Addictive, really, especially the buffalo mozzarella made in the region between Naples and Paestum. None of the so-called mozzarella cheese available outside Italy tastes as good.
Now, which route did they say the vans were travelling along ? ;-)

Look for some "constipated-cops", who may tend to "cut the cheese"!

Well, it does for ME---but then, I ain't Italian. Maybe they "work different"....!
