Occasional Trouble, Now And Zen

Brothers (Up) In Arms

Give peace a chant. Cops getting called at night to break up fights between good ol' boys in southern Mississippi isn't uncommon - except when the boys in question are Buddhist monks. The police had to be called on two separate occasions to stop rumbles between the brothers at a temple in Biloxi. Factions there were split over the choice of head monk.

FOOTNOTE: Fist among equals.

Hi Cowgirl,

Always lovely to see your footprints here. I had a great weekend - but I wasn't fighting like the monks!

Keep smiling

G'day Birdman,

Never a truer word was spoken. Religious aggro - oh no!

That just takes the cake. Obviously, they were forgetting the examples so many before them set.
