Weekend Wandering

Please answer today's question on your own blog, any time until next weekend. Just link to this blog (or to this post) so I can follow the progress of the discussion.

And the question is: Have you ever sworn at a computer?

Only when I try to make a link and it doesn't work. I'm going to try to make a link to your post right now - and I'll swear it better work.

Hi David,

Just a suggestion, if you're wanting folks to link back, maybe you should turn the comments off for that particular post? I'd also suggest that you let them know how to do that, i.e. right-click the time below the post (where you get the "permanent link" label popping up) and copy the link ("Copy Link Location" in Firefox) then when they are ready to create the link on their blog, highlight the text that will be the link, click the button that looks like a link of chain, and paste into the the dialog box that pops up.

I hope this helps.

Kicking isn't really swearing, is it? ;-)

You should've heard some of the nouns, pro-nouns, and assorted adjectives that I enlisted the aid of, on my first attempt at "hooking-up" my broadband!

Then again, maybe they're best left in my "Pandora's-Box" until the day I'm forced to switch to VISTA!

If it's mechanical, I can fix it! If it's digital---time to "open the box"...!

I'm gonna take you up on this topic before I forget about it and it will be to late to do it!

ok...it was a struggle but mine's up.

It was kind of like asking: is the sky blue? [well. most days.]

David, I didn't spend all those years in the Navy without learning something. My education was further refined (?) while I lived in Australia.
The post is going bloody up.
