No, He Ain’t Home Alone
Europe's youngest mayor, Martin Gruber, 25, still lives at home with his mum and shares a room with his little brother. He was voted into office in Kappel am Krappfeld, southern Austria. "I'll move out because it doesn't make a very good impression for the town if the Mayor's mum still gives him packed lunches and does his washing for him," he said.

That is so funny ... but really he should reconsider... so many college graduates who cant find jobs have moved home ... at least he has a job!
don't know if this is funny or commendable...
That was quaint but funny!
What you might call a Krapping good post!
Actually, I think it shows frugality and good common sense - qualities very rare in mayors. Or any other politicians.
Who wouldn't vote for a man who listens to his Mum! Your post has my vote as well!
"Sorry, colleagues, I can't tell you! I have to keep Mum about it! and by the way it's past my bed time!.
Can you imagine this scenario:
Mom: I told you to eat your vegetables, or no dessert!
Mayor: I don't wanna.
Mom: Very well young man, you can go march right up to your room for the night!
Mayor: WHAAAAA!!!!
There is a knock at the door the next day, and mom is hauled away by the local constabulary for child abuse, and her home is confiscated via eminent domain, with an order signed by the Mayor.
The Mayor still won't eat his vegetables. ;-)
Wow! 25 and still living at home. I can't imagine..
25 and living at home with parents in Europe is not that scandalous, really. Men leave the nest late, and only once married to their mother's clone. It's a sad affair... But this story's amusingly told, as per usual.
Oh, wow.
It says something about him though... it says he CAN live with his mother and be a good person (one hopes since he is the mayor).
If I were still living with my mother... well...
/wants to faint at the concept.
I'll bet his younger brother will be relieved to get a room to himself at last!
