Hi David: Regarding possible auto-nominations for POTD... My wife and I recently wrote another add-on poem about the spring flooding in our area:
{Big Deal}
Also, I thought you might like to give my new caption contest a shot:

Sir David: I love your trio of captions for my April Caption Contest. Everyone's a winner.

For your Julius Pleaser post, my comment was a poemagraph (poem in paragraph form).
{Roman Joke Book}

If you're ever in the Fargo area, stop by for a cup of coffee, where we're now awaiting a second flood crest, or as I call it: Crest's Second Coming!
{Fargo Flood}

Thanks a lot David for the mention. I have just put my 100th blog post on my site. This time about my experience of Chinese takeaways in my home town/city of Derby (UK) to the present day.

Thanks too for saying that you like my style, that means a lot to me as I am wanting to work as a food writer (with humour and travel as hors d'oeuveres or at the very least - side dishes)

I'm so honored. I don't even a speech prepared. I do, however, have my formal on and my hair in an updo. Thanks so much for the linky-love!

Thank you Mr. McMahon for yet another wonderful PotD. With these postings I learn so much and discover so many wonderful blogs and people. By the time I'm done reading their post of the day, I'll have started following them!

These highlighted blogs mean a lot to me, they aren't just some random person's musings that are entertaining. They're a gateway to knowledge, a special kind of education that I can't find on any college campus.

Thank you for leading me to that gateway.
