Were you gobsmacked by a daring April Fool hoax?
Did you fail to pick which news items were jokes?
Could you distinguish between pranks and the glitter
Did you fall for The Guardian’s yarn about Twitter?

I've managed to side-step all the April 1st traps so far! Thanks for stopping by my blog. You have some great pictures here too!
Hey David,
Great April's fools rhyme. No pranks for me today.
Hope you had a great April Fools : )
Safe so far...only a few hours to go here...Great verse, and that's no April Foolin'...
LOL! Very timely!
One of my message board sites has been in Greek all day. It was most irritating. Okay, so call me a spoil sport. I'll go back tomorrow.
I was trapped in a prank done by my sister when I was going to fool her.
Cheers!
I heard things today that I wish had been April Fool's chatter, does that count?
I have managed to avoid the Twitter trap since I have not a minute left in my day. Great article about the Guardian.
Yes, I was pranked. But it was funny and harmless, so even I laughed.
And now, more laughs from this. Thanks.
OH- wow...I totally fell for the Guardian's thing about twitter.
Guess they got me.
He he ... I didn't even see the Guardian's Yarn. I just read it. That would be hilarious! If it weren't a joke.
ha! i must be blonde.... i missed it all, heee heeee heeee
Ha ha I heard about that Guardian thing, but tend to avoid the news on April fool's day on purpose because I'm a very gullible sort of person!
Like Pinkerbell, I'm pretty gullible, so I read everything, including blogs, expecting it to be a joke. Sadly, some of them weren't.
Hoot! David, I now can't make up my mind whether you are the new Hilaire Belloc or the new Edward Lear - probably a great mixture of both!
The comments on that article are funny - the number of people thinking a REAL news item was a joke... lol
