Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Will one suitcase do, or shall I take two
On my forthcoming journey to Kalamazoo?
Shall I wait a bit longer and buy one in Wodonga?
While I'm waiting in line to take part in the conga

One suitcase won't do, if I'm to come too.

I'd love to journey way down there with you.

Shall I wait at the curb or taxi to you?

And we'll both dance the congo in the light of the moon.
(My apologies to your sweet wife!)

According to my wife with black belt in shopping, never estimate the returning volume on your departing day. Travel with card and experience the future.

Perhaps consume a chimichanga
While you wait to do the conga!
And if you ponder this anew
Time will tell if one will do

You brightened my morning, David. I love the 2 couplets.
But I also love ArneA's comment "...my wife with black belt in shopping..." how apt can you get.
great thoughts every one keep going.

" But I have to take only two
As I am not going to the zoo
In fact visiting USA kids
Where $ are expensive bids.."

I'd recommend
only carry-on.

Don't carry your clothes in a sack,
A case is much easier to pack.

Sometimes your luggage is a worry
When on your trip you have to hurry
You check the bags and dine on fish again
When the Kalamazoo is the one in Michigan

Love this one, David! Can you really dance the conga?

Pop over to Sandi's to say welcome home would you?

She loved the verse and worse you wrote for her. Clever idea that one! :-)

Cheers!!!

or should I wonder
if a brolly is needed
while gazing up yonder
those clouds look seeded
It will be needed
