Post Of The Day

Okay, so I've had a good holiday and I'm back at work now and I'd better get my act together with Post Of The Day. Today's award goes to Blossom Cottage for the very moving post When Your Mother Becomes Someone Else. Among the other posts that made an impression on me today were Random Moments and Is It Weird That I'm The Guy?; Ornery's Ice Storm; Vic Grace's unusual Road Kill For Supper; Jeni at Down River Drivel with Hot Time; Cowgirl's Symphony In The Garden and Driving With The Brakes On with Bubble Toes.

The link for Blossom Cottage didn't work for me either. The title grabbed my attention...as I remembered, so vividly, my own Mother becoming a shell of her former self before she passed.

I am already a subscriber to Vic and Jeni's blogs... thanks for introducing me to the other blogs in this post. I always find great blogs to read in these posts!

Hi David, I should like to know how the weather is in your part of the world. You see, I'm a bit worried, for my daughter lives in Cooktown and we couldn't contact her. We saw on TV how terrible the floods are in certain parts of Australia, but unfortunately it didn't say where exactly the floods are.

Thank you David for the shout out. Thought that title might catch a few peoples attention. Titles are so important aren't they.

I couldn't get to the first one either. I wrote about my mum yesterday so was keen to read.

See you tomorrow for ABC!
