Star Tech

Enlarger Than Life

Yesterday I got asked a question by textile artist Papoosue, who has the blog Random Blethers. I didn’t know the answer because I had never used the option myself, but I went to my tech oracle, Terry Fletcher. He’s an ex-RAF bloke who lives in Portugal and runs the Anglo-Indian Portal. I told Papoosue that Terry was nine hours behind me but lightyears ahead in tech applications. This was the question (also see discussion threads at Google Blogger Help ) and Terry’s swift answer.

How do I post a click-and-enlarge picture on my blog?

Terry responded with a typically big-hearted gesture. Not only did he sort out the answer; he even started a blog at Terry’s Sandbox to give Papoosue the answer and create yet another valuable resource for bloggers. I take no credit for this, but I can now point you in the direction of the Sandbox for the answer to Papoosue’s question. In a nutshell, here’s Terry’s philosophy. He wrote: ``This blog has been constructed as an aide-mémoire for anybody that is interested in the many variations that can be achieved in the presentation of a personal blog. It is by no means an authoratative document on any particular aspect, more a 'hand-holding' exercise to allow people to experiment and discover things for themselves. Where a particular 'display' or a 'feature' is not obvious, a comment requesting further explanation will always be met with as much information as is necessary to achieve the objective. You just have to ask!''

Hi BTBear,

Hmm, to the best of my knowledge, you can only use some html symbols in a comment, so I don't think you can post a live link.

I'll sack the word verification manager.

Cheers

David
