Consider this a test, kind of. I’m going to give you some options and you tell me what you think the answer is, before I reveal all. Okay? Thinking caps on? Your test starts now.
So here’s the question. What have I shot here?
a) An advertising hoarding for microphones?
b) A sandwich board for an auto parts supplier?
c) A denim display in an Outback travel promotion stall?
d) A bus painted to look like a real-life scene?
e) A denim-clad passer-by checking out a painting?
f) A lifesize mural in an art gallery?

Time’s up. Just drop me a comment saying a, b, c, d or e before I tell you what I’ve captured here.
Here's the answer. If you ticked option E, you are correct. The wheel is real. The vehicle is real. The singer is obviously painted on the side panels of the ute, or what we call a utility vehicle.
But is the denim rear-end part of the painting? No, it's a real person standing beside the ute. That was the whole object of the exercise. That’s precisely why I shot such a tight frame here - to make you like twice, in order to make you think about what I’ve shot.
Did you look twice at the shot? You did? Thank you - that's the greatest reward for any photographer.

I thought D. then realised that my eyes had caught the answer, so you only have my word for it. the giveaway was the tyre.
I could tell the tire and the denim butt were real, so I was leaning towards E, but this was quite tricky. But fun, too. :D
I chose D then read your answer. Darnit. I'm very competitive, I don't like being wrong. DAMN YOU!
Just kidding. kind of.
only you haha
Butt, butt, butt....really??? amazing!!
D
Definitely D
I would have said car but it wasnt an option
:-Daryl
Not twice . trice!
I would have said (f) but we do have Damien Hirst here who would go for the butt/shark effect! PS: Award for you over at my place.
That's an amazing shot! It looks to me like he's peeking about to the OTHER side of the denim wearer. LOL!
well, you certainly made me look at the photo more than once - and smile at it. not that i didn't notice the denim-clad buttocks were not a part of the painting but...
I looked more than twice! I did guess e.
It was definitely E. Like Leslie I knew the tire and denim butt were real. Loved the shot. Wondered if it was taken at a racing event. Then asked myself, "Why would someone put a singer on their race car?"
Cheers! & Happy Thanksgiving Day!
Ingenius, but I think that the title gives it away.
I looked three times - because the wheel caught me out not the denim. Cute shot. ;0)
I said D that tire looks real.but so does the butt.
:) I knew right off, but I did look a second time just to be sure. :)
Hope all is well. We are great...just busy!
Cool and fun shot!
Actually, I thought it was someone standing next to a painted bus.
Great shot and a nice test to do! ;-)
I think it is D, David!
What ever it is......... was very colourful & a good shot.
Perfect title for that photo. I looked more than once, then i figured it out with "my humps" plyi in my head.
What a great shot! I looked it over, but had it figured out before I scrolled down for the answer.
