Has Anyone Seen Our Church?

Normal Service Will Be Resumed Soon

A church has vanished from the Russian village where it stood for almost 200 years. The Church of Christ's Resurrection, in the central Russian village of Komarovo, was built in 1809 but in early October someone reportedly took it away brick by brick. The church was not in use but clergy had been considering resuming services there.

FOOTNOTE: Dearer, my God, to thee.

Oh and that where the story ends? what did they do with the bricks? did they build another building? Did they sell the bricks?

The mind boggles. If it was isolated then the brick thief would have a long walk to hide his cache. If the church was not isolated, where was everyone? Was it a big church? Did he take the windows? Is this a wind up?
I am seriously worried, what next? Is anyone watching the Kremlin?

Well you know what they say, "If you don't use it, you lose it".
