Can-Do Attitude Foils Robbery

Out, Out, Damned Post

Looking for sweet-smelling thugs? A postmistress in England drove away two gun-wielding robbers using a can of air freshener. Margaret Taylor, of Manchester, fought off two men who burst into her post office waving a gun and a knife. She picked up a bottle of Oust - which claims to do “more than just eliminate odours'' - and sprayed the raiders in the face. The fumes proved too much for the balaclava-wearing robbers and they ran for their car.

FOOTNOTE: The baffle of balaclava.

I keep a can Oust in the truck...now it seems it may be a good idea...I'll just spray Mac with it when he tries to take possession of my proper spot behind the steering wheel!

That's just brilliant! I wonder if Oust will try to work the story into their next advertising campaign.

I wonder if writing "Blows away thugs" on the container would be politically correct. ;-)

A swift kick in the nads would have done the trick too!

I'd think that stinky rose scented perfume that old ladies wear would do the same trick.Maybe even better. That stuff is rank!!!!

Well done Margaret! Surely a boost in 'oust' sales too? I've not heard of it before now. A product which clearly does MORE than it says on the tin.

Clearly, Oust is good for ousting more than odors. I'll start keeping a can in my desk at the gallery.
