1) Nancy Cartwright
2) Besides Demon Barbers? The press, I think.
3) Peninsular and Oriental. Goofy story as to why I actually know that.
4) I would assume The Color Purple.
5) Infamously zero, although it's been rumored she has as many as two or three unpublished works. I'm kinda interested in stories like hers, and JD Salingers.
1. Some girl?
2. Shipping?
3. No idea on this one
4. The Color Purple is my only guess
5. Up until recently I thought it was one... Now i'm leaning more towards zero.

4. The Color Purple...that one I honestly knew :) I'm a faithful Oprah watcher and magazine subscriber
5. you know, i read a ton but I don't read a lot of "classics". Maybe I need to make that a new challenge to myself...I can tell you if Harry Potter lived or died at the end of the last book though.
Bart Simpson's voiceover is done by Nacy Cartwright. Fleet Street is synonymous with the newspaper industry--the press. P&O is the Pacific and Orient. Oprah was honored for The Color Purple. I don't think Harpoer Lee published another novel after Mockingbird.
That was Nancy Cartwright--I'm a bumblefingers tonight.
1. no clue
2. Newspaper Publishing
3.Pacific and Orient
4. The Color Purple
5. Ms Harper never published another work after TKAM but remained friends with Truman Capote whom she met as a child when he spent summers with his Aunt, I believe. I can see hammer says Nancy Cartwright for the first question but as I had no clue that would have been cheating...
I have not a clue to the first three questions - never watched the Simpsons, I've heard of Fleet Street but the only thing that comes to my mind about "Fleet" has to do with enemas and I don't think the answer pertains to that.
But Oprah - that would be The Color Purple -can't think of the character's name but I can see her in my mind's eye. and Harper Lee - published one novel and only one and that was To Kill A Mockingbird. Kind of like Gone With the Wind - a one and only novel but a really great one in both cases! (And no, right now I can't for the living daylights remember who the heck wrote GWTW and that was my favorite book of all time. Geez, I AM really getting old and senile!
2. Fleet Street sounds like a clothing line or a recording studio.
4. Oprah won for 'The Color Purple'.
5. Harper didn't publish another book under her own name that I know of.

3-pretentious and obsinate? no, this is a trick question. it's actually a play on the latin word peando, which is their word for "ferrying people expensively around europe." and few people know *this* but it is actually the next thing caesar said after "veni vidi vici". the full phrase is really "veni vidi vici peando".
4-the colour purple
5-237? no, actually this too is a trick question. she didn't even really publish to kill a mockingbird. she stole it from her classmate truman capote, who only really wrote it to secretly pass notes to the germans. this was not at all as funny as i thought it might be, yet i still keep typing.
