Meet My Friends, Mr Smith And Mr Wesson
An Italian concert violinist has been given a gun permit so he can protect his $12 million Stradivarius violin. Matteo Fedeli has been given police permission to protect it with a 357 Smith and Wesson Magnum. He said he also has an armed escort as he travels to concerts.
FOOTNOTE: Violins begets violins.

Didn't Gilda Radner do a bit on "Saturday Night Live" about this?
(that may not be a relevant reference in Australia??? )
You're going to have to stop with the puns, the temtation to use them myself is ruining my reputation. MH
Man, this guy isn't fiddling around!
Ridiculous amount to pay for a violin.
Remember this guy who left his Stradivarius on a taxi backseat a few years ago? Would a gun have helped?
