Running Mates

Caution: Zombies At The Next Intersection

A digital traffic sign in Austin, Texas, has mysteriously been altered to proclaim: "The end is near! "Caution! Zombies ahead!" And just in case anyone was wondering what to do next, the sign advised motorists to "Run for cold climates". The department, TxDOT, is now trying to figure out who hacked into its system.

Too Funny! I would have loved to seen the reactions of the motorist!

TxDOT had it coming to them! I only wish I could have seen it and passed it around the office where I work- we work with TxDOT regularly.

"Run for cold climate" is something that you could use locally too. I keep you in my thoughts.

That's funny. Hey, been thinking about you because the news is talking about the fires over there. That is so horrible...how close is it to you now?

While they were trying to decipher the meaning, any motorist could have had a pile up.
How do they hack into those things?

I wonder if that hacked sign caused any traffic accidents. But then, many Americans ignore such signs.

I read about this. It apparently happened a couple of times.

Brilliant. I'd love to do that to the electronic signs around here...

If the last sign would have said "evacuation underway" I wonder how many people would have turned around.
