Michael Rowed The Boat Ashore
Maybe the captain of this vessel found himself in the doldrums. No, look carefully at the image and you’ll see that this was not shot in some exotic marina, or some lagoon in the Caribbean. It was shot on a city street.
Yes, you read that correctly. On a city street.
We were in Kuala Lumpur last July and decided to walk from our hotel, the Shangri-La, to the nearby Petronas Towers. As always, I was lagging several yards behind the rest of the family because I kept stopping to take shots of objects or sights that caught my eye.
This boat is just a great advertisement for a local restaurant. Don’t worry, there won’t be a mutiny on the bountiful.

I love the way you always find a splash of colour wherever you go. :)
Nice shot. It took a minute to see the whale in the picture.
Oh, I'll bet that sign is even more fun lit up!
Happy PSF!
That's a fun advertisement. I have to chuckle about you straggling behind. I always have one of mine distracted all the way by stuff and lagging further and further behind while another is running ahead of all of us!
You really have talent for being observant and ready with the camera!
Hello David, thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I'm off to take a look at your blog :)
Kim
I think you must have eyes in the back of YOUR head!
And now I can't get that tune out of MY head!
Great PSF!
Word ver...... DAMMIT.......
Clever advert. Well spotted!
I love it. :)
do they sell crabby patties?????
The boat that Michael didn't row ashore seems to be an effective attention-getter for the restaurant that's not on the Bounty.
It got your attention, so you took a photograph. Now it's got my attention. And everyone else's attention that reads your blog.
Cheap advert I'd say.
Thanks for sharing that. Way cool! Happy Friday!
It does it job, got your attention!
My family and friends have learned to just keep walking... I'll catch up eventually. It's worse when I'm driving with the camera in my lap. No telling how many unscheduled stops there will be between point a and point b. But how can you pass up opportunities like this one? I submit that you cannot.
That's pretty cool. It's definitely colorful and an eye catcher.
clever sign. Hope you can stop by to view my photo hunt Thanks so much.
