She offered to take her brand-new beau
For a midnight spin in her red Peugeot
But he was so shocked he could hardly speak
When she missed a turn and splashed into the creek

dropped in to say im back at blogging....well hopefully :)
i had a peugeot once...twas not a creek she ran into, but she was not longer running after she did.
That would be quite a shock.
tragedy :P
Peugeot's are fine when kept on the road
And five in the back is too heavy a load.
But the best car of all is the 2CV
Simple, cheap, and just my cup of tea.
When I was 16, my parents owned a Peugeot.
I shared the backseat with my annoying brother, not a beau.
More of the time I refused to speak.
I would have rather thrown him in a creek.
(Although the above is true, another true story is that my dad ran it through a flood in the road and ruined the engine.)
