It's not often you see golden concentric circles, is it? If you want to guess what this photograph shows, leave a comment. I'll provide the answer in 24 hours - promise!
(Ignoring previous comments) Beats me. I'm trying hard to see what ideas I can drum up, but perhaps it will come to me if I stick with it. Is "symbolic image" a clue?
David, I'm seeing stacked wood. At first I was thinking tennis racket frame but the shape is wrong. Maybe a stacked heel on a woman's shoe? They used to make them out of that before they started doing all kinds of plastic ones. Am I close?
tCymbol. Due to DW going to bed ive snatched a few mins on the laptop, not enuf time to visit all blogers and cant get to my pics thru laptop wont post any. thanks for being patient and waiting.
cymbal was gonna be my guess too. Are there differing spellings here because the word is spelt differently across the world or do you think it's just spelling mistakes?

David, There are 2 clues that you've given to suggest it is a CYMBAL:
CLUE 1: This Is Simply A Symbolic Image
CLUE 2: Right click on the image and the filename says "qcymbal1".
Forget the clues, and I see a Hat, a lampshade, the back of a really fat man (what you see is the shirt) [sitting in a pub].... ok let me stop before i get too creative!

well, seeing as how I am the mother of a musician, and have heard these many times, playing in my dreams... It is very symbolic, isn't it? :)) Slainte~ Rachelle

Gotta go... I think I just heard something crash.
Beautiful. Your title suggests cymbal, but my imagination suggests a straw hat. I'll be back to find out. Thanks for the WW fun!
Well I'm going to go with a cymbal too.
Great shot :-)
I was going to say a cymbol too.

You'll find my answer at the end of the trail ...
Interesting image to say the least! With cymbal already taken I won’t even hazard a guess.
Thanks for dropping by Country Captures.
I appreciate your nice comment.

Symbol"ic"...cymbol.
Looks like many folks knew from the get-go!
Happy WW!
I have no idea. Whenever I see such designs, I love to run my fingers down the concentric circles, like going down the steps.....
Way too easy, even when I feel this lousy. Cymbal. Probably not a Zildjian. Definitely old and in need of some polish.
Beware lousy drummers... we know it all until you ask us to keep a beat.

I'd go for an LP record. I'll check again.
