Nice Shot. I am going to guess a cymbol.Happy WWwww.knotbuilder.com
Yup. Cymbal from a drum set - NICE shot, David!
whatever it is it's a terrific picture
Well I'll be back to see the answer...Happy Ww..
I say cymbol too. That or an oriental hat.
(Ignoring previous comments) Beats me. I'm trying hard to see what ideas I can drum up, but perhaps it will come to me if I stick with it. Is "symbolic image" a clue?Gotta go... I think I just heard something crash.
Beautiful. Your title suggests cymbal, but my imagination suggests a straw hat. I'll be back to find out. Thanks for the WW fun!
Well I'm going to go with a cymbal too.Great shot :-)
I was going to say a cymbol too.
David, I'm seeing stacked wood. At first I was thinking tennis racket frame but the shape is wrong. Maybe a stacked heel on a woman's shoe? They used to make them out of that before they started doing all kinds of plastic ones. Am I close? Peace!
Great shot! I'd like to know what it is. Happy WW!
I say cymbal, but that's so boring, because everyone else already said it!Ummm... how bout a really cool lampshade?!?!
It looks like a part of a drum set...excellent shot!
It's a cymbol isn't it? What a great shot!! Very creative
if not a cymbol...one of those tissue paper lampshades..?
Well, your title gave it away...very clever! And so did your commentors, ha!come visit my WW post for Tuedsday:Answers to the Questions
I was going to say cymbol too.Crystal xx
Yes it is.~Oswegan
Happy WW and have a nice day.
I was thinking a cymbal or one of those exercise balls at an angle.
tCymbol.Due to DW going to bed ive snatched a few mins on the laptop, not enuf time to visit all blogers and cant get to my pics thru laptop wont post any. thanks for being patient and waiting. Nice shot and cleverly done David.
Somebody with an abnormally uniform thumb-print????? I have blogged too, twice!!
everyone took my guess! drum cymbals! i love craver vii's comment! very creative!
Put me in the cymbol camp...
cymbal was gonna be my guess too. Are there differing spellings here because the word is spelt differently across the world or do you think it's just spelling mistakes?
OMG! Deja Vue! Jonah banging clanging making music on the porch!
Wooo ... Hooo!Managed to create a 'link' to the post. Still a way to go to iron out the wrinkles before I post something about how to achieve it, but you can click on the "Links to this post" bit and follow the link to see what I mean. You'll find my answer at the end of the trail ...
Interesting image to say the least! With cymbal already taken I won’t even hazard a guess. Thanks for dropping by Country Captures. I appreciate your nice comment.Salty
Symbol"ic"...cymbol.Looks like many folks knew from the get-go!Happy WW!
I have no idea. Whenever I see such designs, I love to run my fingers down the concentric circles, like going down the steps.....
Way too easy, even when I feel this lousy. Cymbal. Probably not a Zildjian. Definitely old and in need of some polish. Beware lousy drummers... we know it all until you ask us to keep a beat.
David,There are 2 clues that you've given to suggest it is a CYMBAL:CLUE 1: This Is Simply A Symbolic ImageCLUE 2: Right click on the image and the filename says "qcymbal1".Forget the clues, and I see a Hat, a lampshade, the back of a really fat man (what you see is the shirt) [sitting in a pub].... ok let me stop before i get too creative!cheersrk

I'd go for an LP record. I'll check again.
i thought cymbal or lampshade too. Seems a lot of people guessed the same! :)
well, seeing as how I am the mother of a musician, and have heard these many times, playing in my dreams...It is very symbolic, isn't it?:))Slainte~Rachelle
