Auto Repair Injury A Nut Case
A man trying to loosen a stubborn wheel nut blasted the wheel with a 12-gauge shotgun, injuring himself badly in both legs, according to sheriff's deputies in Kitsap County, Washington state. The 66-year-old man had spent two weeks repairing a Lincoln Continental for two weeks at his home. From about arm's length, the man fired the shotgun at the wheel nut and was ``peppered'' in both legs with buckshot and other debris, with some injuries as high on his body as his chin.
FOOTNOTE: Hot shot.

Thats just...well, stupid.
Maybe he wrote ``Gunner do this properly'' in his diary instead of ``Gonna do this properly.''
Good luck with the move, Dan - but make sure you get ``her'' number first - the person down the hall.
Keep us posted ....

I've never seen a shotgun in a tool box. Guess, he learned a lesson the hard way. Wonder what he'll try next time he needs to loosen a nut.
Who wouldn't have shot at that ricalcitrant wheel nut? Besides, who's to blame for letting that poor guy having the car for only "two weeks at his home"?
I am sorry to say, I live in Kitsap County, WA. Not ALL of us are that stupid though. I prefer to believe this guy was a transplant...maybe from another planet?
It is hard to believe how stupid some people are...the world over! amazing!
rage trumps common sense.
always wise to note that when playing cars.
I agree with Dan mega...
Thank you for your stopping in my blog ;O)
Reflectory shot for the refractory wheel.
Diary remark: Goner did it properly!
we have some people living way way out in the country here who like to remove warts with firearms if you get my drift...
I wonder whether he laughed or cried as they lugged him off to the hospital. What a nut!
Think about how stupid the average person is. Half of 'em are even more stupid than that.
(Thanks to George Carlin for that one...)
Shot a Lincoln, eh? Was his last name Oswald?
Yeah, that's kinda---dense, alright.
Maybe if he had used a SLUG, though...!
It's people like this that keep me busy at work :)
