Called To Account

Short-Term Money Market

A five-year-old British boy pushed a bank door and it opened - 19 hours after it was supposedly locked up last weekend. Oliver Pettigrew wandered into the HSBC branch in Easingwold, North Yorkshire, as his father used a cash machine outside. They called police after walking right up to the vault of the deserted bank. An HSBC spokeswoman said there was a "malfunction" with the catch on the door. She said customers' savings had not been at risk.

FOOTNOTE: Whose vault, er, fault was it?

Good thing it was a father and child who discovered it now a would-be bank robber.

Foot note is so funny! LOL!

I went with a friend to her bank one day and before we could go in someone came out and told us to go back to our car. Told us that there was someone waving a gun around outside the bank in another car and the police were on there way. Come to find out it was a toy gun.

Have a Blessed Year!

The customers savings were not at risk? Have they looked at their Market Values? Starting to look a lot like ours...I'm scouting out likely locations for Prince Albert cans to bury my market funds!

That is just ridiculous, how could any bank be that stupid, they were so lucky that it was sober honest citizens, can you imagine if it was a bunch of people who had been on the lash and thought what fun!
