Yeeew Tube

Er, Nurse, Did You Say `Stick 'Em Up?’

Russians visiting a health resort received a rude shock when a nurse used hydrogen peroxide instead of water to give them enemas. It seems that 17 tourists in a Caucasus spa town had to be treated in hospital after the mix-up. Sanatorium sources said the mistake was explained by water and hydrogen peroxide looking the same.

Tee hee - I see you got to the bottom of this story ;)

Had said Sanatorium sources lost their sense of smell?

Mind you, I'm with Sandi - I'll take the Vodka every single time...

As someone who has to have the horrid things far to often for her liking, my first thoughts were that it must have been soooo painful, and they are bad enough as it is. Loving the footnote though.

I think the nurse needs glasses.

Loads of funny limericks.

Suspect those 17 tourists will be very uncomfortable for a while. Peroxide can burn the skin. I'm thinking the explanation is weak. Peroxide comes in bottles and water comes from a tap. How on earth do you not know the difference?

I think I'll have to check my bottle of peroxide just to make sure it isn't water or vodka for that matter :-)

I'm guessing they dont feel the same.

(this is Pope Terry by the way, or at least it was)

Ouch... yuck... ugh.... eeeewwww.
'riddle of the sphincter'
LOL.

Talk about sizzling instead of swishing.
I don't see how they look the same.

Oh man that must have caused quite a stir. Can't imagine such a mix up. I know how peroxide feels in the mouth if you rinse after brushing. You can feel all those little bubbles foaming and bursting. Can you imagine how it must have felt being used as an enema.

Being a nurse I've heard of all kinds of medical mistakes made but never this one. Too funny! There was one enema the doctors used to order called an HHH enema. (high hot, and a hellava lot)

I bet the foam filled that room chest deep.
