Bring Home The Baking

I Ain't Got Nuffin', Muffin

Photograph copyright: DAVID McMAHON

I was just about to put away this empty muffin tray a couple of mornings ago when I realised that the gentle light and soft shade across its coated non-stick surface was jut perfect.

Luckily I always have my camera close by, so I fired off a couple of frames. Next time you're in town, let me know and I'll bake some of my special chocolate-chip muffins. Be warned: once you've feasted on them, you'll have to come back for more.

And yes, the Authorbloglets endorse that claim. And their friends. And most important of all, so does Mrs Authorblog.

(The Odd Shots concept came from Katney. Say "G'day" to her.)

Your muffin tins look a lot nicer than my muffin tins! :P Are you going to share your recipe or is it a secret?

Are you a Crumpet, blowing your own trumpet?
Or simply a meringue and you don't give a damn?
Or a...oh for goodness sake, stop it, Annie!

Simple and pleasurable. Sometimes the simplest things are the most rewarding.

Ah, a man that bakes! Mrs Authorblog is a lucky woman, too then! Mac can make dinner, if you'll take care of dessert! Never thought about a muffin tin as an object of art...leave it to you, David!

Your muffin tins look completely unused!
I'd like to know how you find time for baking as well as all your other activities! LOL!

It's awesome that you know your way around a kitchen and can do more than just grab something from the fridge, David! That was a nice shot, again proving that you can make almost anything interesting.

Cheers!

Another lesson: A photo op is where you find it; just keep your eyes open! Thanks, Mr. Mc!

A nice warm muffin would taste really good about now.:)

Nice composition, David. It looks brand spanking new. I agree with Hilary. I would be ashamed to show you mine except for my new silicone ones. My odd shot is up now but beware....
