Building A Reputation

So These Are The Rowling Stones?

A mosaic of Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling has been made out of 48,000 Lego bricks. Children helped build the giant tribute at the Legoland Windsor theme park in Berkshire after the novelist came top of a poll to find the "ultimate hero" of the last ten years. The author got more than a third of responses, followed by "High School Musical" star Zac Efron in second place.

Not to be mean to hero one and two, but those choices make me quite sad :-(

We love legos in our house! I'd love to see J.K. Rowling made out of legos? Is there a link to view this? Very cool.

I have no problem w/ authors and movie stars but I hope most of the world knows that the real heroes are --Parents- brave friends - public servants(Soldiers,Fire, and police men)

My grandsons love to go there! That would be an added attraction.
The granddaughters prefer High School Musical! Great fans, they are.

My grandson thinks legos are better than sliced bread! I say let 'em build what they want to build, it's artistic either way.

David, left you something on my post today.

I'm with Maria-Therese - not to say authors or actors haven't their worth but heroes?Very sad.

(What about their mums? dads? fire service? doctors? vets? etc)

I went to Legoland about 12 years ago when the eldest was 7. Fantastic day. Expensive, but fun.

What? No link? :-D Funny isn't it, how kids define a hero. It used to be firemen or Superman. Now it's an author and an actor. I wonder if someone should have defined what a hero is to them.

I'll bet Legos aren't craggy enough to do a portrait of Keith Richards! ;)

What a wizard performance with all those lego bricks.
The children must have been under Harry's spell to do that!

Well, what an odd choice. Ah well, another 5 years and it would be different again. Would love to see the lego.
