Playing Fare

Honesty Is The Best Policy

Hundreds of Argentinians have been donating money to a taxi driver who found more than £20,000 in cash in his cab and returned it to its owners. The donations started after a website was set up by young advertising agency employees who called for gestures of gratitude for his "extraordinary act of honesty".

I love this story! We often take the noble people for granted. "The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones..." - Willy the Shake.

Honesty is a rare and expensive commodity these days. Lucky are the ones who have this and luckier are the ones who know people who are blessed with this rare trait

Wonder if the eventual donations exceeded the value of £20,000.

It is so sad in this world that such an act is considered "extraordinary". But it is extraordinary. Well done taxi driver!
