I know Willow's blog and agree she deserves a place of honour as Post of Any Day.

Fortunately I don't know any of the other contenders. I say fortunately because now I have a whole slew of new posts to check out! And if they're in the same league as Willow, this should be a lot of fun!

Thanks.

Awesome! Much thanks David... you are too sweet.

I have already have had a few new visitors, congratulating me on being "POTD".

At first I thought it may be some "Pirates Of The Day" award, envisioning a sexy Johnny Depp trophy or something.

You know what? This is even BETTER. (Although I will admit I would never refuse any sexy JD trophy).

Thank you so much! I too have a few new co-honories to visit as well!

Great selection as usual, David!

Just a note to you: I'll try to finish that writing this weekend, and give it to you Monday, OK?

So here I was approaching my computer this morning, grumbling about the job I needed to work on when I first decided to check in with my blogs. Call me confused. Blogging in anonymity suddenly changed to a very pleasing stack of comments. It took me a bit of sleuthing to realize I hadn't been hacked with people saying nice things meant for someone else. Thank you David. Very kind of you. My brain must have been firing on all cylinders when I wrote that day.

I'd like to nominate myself-

Do comment, irrespective of the award.

Well David, how surprised I was to see all these kind comments on my apple box story all referring to David's author blog and a best post award. ?? Sorry to say I wasn't aware of your blog so I googled and there you were! And now I am aware and will forever be. Thank you so much for reading my humble post and mentioning me in yours. It is very flattering and inspires me to keep on.

Thank you for your great selection, David. I'd like to nominate this post, but I don't know how to do it without writing the whole code. I'm such a dummy. I'll try but I can't guarantee it'll work. As I said, dummy.

David,

I just laughed my head off on this post: http://eddybluelights.blogspot.com/2009/05/theyre-off-bloggers-grand-national.html
You will have to read it too. Some how I could see it all so vividly. How about a Post of the day for Eddie? Sure to make folks laugh! You come out looking pretty good in this piece he wrote :)!

Now to look at the blogs of today that won POTD
