Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

The judge was irate as he sacked the jury
When they spent four hours at the brewery
He sent them to work on the wharf at the port
And said it would be a sobering thought

The tales of crime drove that jury to the brink...
and so I suppose that is why they drowned in the drink...

Yes, but they thought he told them to go to work on the Port at the wharf, so they grabbed a few bottles of vino and went and sat on the dock of the bay.

So said the jury to the judge
This is a verdict we really can't fudge
This one we're trying is really a punk
To reach a decision we have to be drunk
