Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Grandma’s roast
Is in the post
But she’s sending the gravy
Through the merchant navy

The first thing that comes to mind is that rhyme

Kindergarten Baby
Stick your head in gravy
Wash it out with bubblegum
And sent it to the Navy.

Can you imagine the guy that had to open those packages?

Oh great...another one...

Peace - Rene

Let's propose a toast
and dance labamba down the coast
we can have the anchovy
while waiting for the gravy!

Grandma's pies
Had better get wise!

They'll burn in the oven!

By the time our Post Office delivers the post
Grandma will be dead and she'll be a ghost
And as for the Navy with the gravy
It's sunk at Jones' locker, christian name, Davy!

Grandma's roast is in the post?!
I'd hate to see that package...
by the time it gets to Oz,
it'll just end up as wreckage!
