Get The Truck Outta Here

Bad Attack Of The Bend(s)

A Czech truck driver was stranded for three nights in south-west England after his satellite navigation system directed him down a narrow country lane. Yuri Odenhai, 45, was on his way to pick up a cargo of television sets in Devon when his 40-tonne truck became stuck fast on a sharp bend near the village of Ivybridge, east of Plymouth. The truck was eventually towed out by a tractor after a tree surgeon cut away surrounding vegetation. Mat Auburn, 19, said his family took pity on Odenhai and invited him in for meals during his ordeal.

Reminds me of the episode of The Office (American version) where Michael drives into a lake because his GPS tells him to.

Congrats on finishing your novel! Maybe I'll finish mine some day and then we can do another trade.

And maybe some day I'll even have time to read the one you already sent me.

Invited him in for meals? What about use of a loo, and a spare bed? Poor, silly sod..
