Post Of The Day

Ladies and gents, today's winner is Mushy, with prose so compelling that it will bring a lump to your throat. Do visit his Sweeping Out The Corners Of My Mind. Among the other posts that caught my eye today were Eric1313 with Bayou; Pensieve with Fun Monday; Camikaos with Let’s Make Music and What It’s Like To Be Me with the wonderful rendition of The Bird Woman.

Hi Hip Grandma,

Thanks for visiting. I'm not surprised you enjoyed Drajeeling. It is such a special place.

Yes, I visit India often an am very proud of my Indian background. I was in Kolkata a year ago and will be in the north for a very brief visit shortly.

Well, now...how in the world did you find my blog? And not only find it, but post a comment on your first visit? And not only comment, but give me a grand ol' shout out on your blog?

Just what did I do to deserve THAT kindness? :)

I'm kind of wondering what people will think of my follow-up posts, though...a "Dancing with the Stars" rant and "Sweet Bunny Trails" (did I just throw out a tease? Me thinks I did!).

Thanks, David...I just errantly assumed you were a new FM participant.
