Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Down the track in Huntingdale
They tethered nothing in the gale
The cattle found themselves airborne
But floated gently to our lawn

The cattle have been raised well to accomplish this in a gentle fashion!
Thanks for making me smile.

The farmer came to get his beef
and couldn't overcome his grief,
Several cattle had gone astray.
{We're having barbecue Saturday.)

Alas what am I going to do?
My lawn is looking like a zoo.
I cannot think how cows got there
I have not time to stand & stare.

The cows were flying through the air

I knew I really could not stare

Looking up I might get hit

By cows who knew that they could spit

Cliff Note:You were probably expecting some other last line, weren't you?

"Worse Verse"

The cows I found upon my lawn
Were there from dusk until the dawn.
I wrapped and stamped them for the mail
And shipped them back to Huntingdale.
