Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Intrepid bushman Clarence Puckle
Made good use of his silver buckle
When trapped in a creek by a man-eating croc
He used it to deliver a thousand-volt shock

I am thinking the best part of this verse...

was in the end Mrs Puckle got a new purse.

And the electric charge came from what? I won't even venture a guess!

I take it he plugged the buckle into a Current Bush? But, pray tell, how did the intrepid Clare manage not to fry his own ass-perations?

The incident really gave him a chuckle
To fry a croc with a silver buckle
He took the idea by the tail
And had himself a Clarence sale

Isn't he in the creek too? This sounds a little dangerous. Clever though. :)
