Just The Cost Would Give You Indigestion
A London restaurant has launched the world's most expensive curry - at £2,000 a portion. The dish, called the Samundari Khazana, or Seafood Treasure, contains Devon crab, white truffle, Beluga caviar, quails' eggs, sea snails, and an £80 Scottish lobster coated in gold leaf.
FOOTNOTE: Beluga wail.

Do they do takeaway?
Why?
Oh, for heaven's sakes, who would want a lobster in gold-leaf? Midas? I think one would do better to give the 2,000 pounds to charity ... you do find such absurdities to report!!! Always know I'll find something here to make me laugh or think!!!! ~Janine
I bet they charge extra for sharing ..
Excuse me while I go to be sick!
Does this count as a fishy story?
Hmmm. I heard that curry is the highest selling food in the UK, making it the unoficcial "National Food". Visitors can now eat curry instead of boiled gammon for that true experience of British Cuisine. Thank goodness!
Ooooh, great spelling there, Nan!
huh? nope, don't think so...
Takes a pair that clang to offer such a thing in today's economy. Seriously!
But, how many plates have they sold? Or is this just a publicity stunt.
Sounds so rich that I don't think I could eat it!
Gold leaf!!!!
I thought you put that on a picture frame!
£2000 for a portion??????
Good job I dont like seafood then isnt it?

Sounds like a shame to mess up a perfectly good lobster that way. For that amount of money, they need to provide me a table on my own private island and the cabana boy to feed me the food.
Good grief! Is it safe to eat gold? Why am I trying to remember a vague historical item about killing people by making them drink gold? I'll gladly eat the rest but please, keep the gold. It's overkill.
Peace!
That's inflation for you! What do they do for dessert?
Think I'd use a doggy bag
and sell it! ~ Eddie
